What to expect

Our Sunday services take place in the main hall of Banstead Community Junior School and usually run for about 75 minutes during which time we sing a mixture of old hymns and newer worship songs, pray, read a passage from the Bible and listen to that passage being explained and applied by one of the Pastors or Elders or sometimes a visiting speaker. (listen to recent sermons)

During the morning service we take up a freewill offering to support the work of the church but visitors are under no obligation to give.

Children usually take part in the first part of the morning service and then go to other rooms for separate groups although some families prefer to remain together throughout the whole service. One morning service each month is a special Family Service where all the children except the very young remain for the whole service.

On the first Sunday morning and third Sunday evening each month we celebrate Communion immediately following the main service and all those who have by faith accepted God’s gift of Salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ are welcome to share in the bread and wine around the Lord’s Table.

At the end of each service, tea, coffee and biscuits are served and there is time to chat and share with those present.

We provide wheelchair access for the disabled, a loop system for the hard of hearing, large print hymn sheets for those with visual impairment and a newssheet containing a message from the Senior Pastor and details of everything going on in the church.
